Following the road south I reached Huancane quicker then I expected. Its difficult to tell if the map and gps is off, as they both lack detail.
I stopped for water in Challapata - and five eggs for lunch. Three had survived by the time I made my meal stop.
The road is dusty, but paved at most of the way.
Continued to Huari where the road continued paved for about ten km, before splitting - mine being the washboard one.
I passed a nameless town without people, but llamas wandering, like residence in the streets. They were everywhere...
Found a place to set camp a few km down this road. Hidden away behind sandhills.
Traffic is less tonight then yesterday - stars are brighter then ever.
