Spent the first half of day reading, watching the tide come in and waiting for it to recede. The beaches were exposed again around 2pm and allowed me to walk out on the mirror landscape. The clam season has just begun and gatherers can be seen up and down the coast collecting razor clams. I found a drift log that looked like a dragon and a pretty rock.
