March 1st, 2010

Began the longest leg today since my knee trouble. Riding from the beach of Kalaloch inland to Lake Quinault aprox 65 km south. I took it easy stopping in for an "indian taco" (no-go) and a shot on the road with no end.
All campgrounds were unfortunately closed for the season when I got to Quinault, but I managed to hide away under a shelter by the lake.
Spent the evening at the local cafe writing postcards and planing a hike.
March 1st!?!
